B&B HOTEL WIEN-MEIDLING, Vienna

The hotel sits on a busy main road in the Meidling district, with the tram 62 stop directly outside providing a 20-minute ride to the Vienna State Opera. The S-Bahn station Wien Hetzendorf is a 5-minute walk, and Wien Meidling station (U6, S-Bahn, local trains) is about 10 minutes on foot. Schönbrunn Palace is 15 minutes on foot or a quick tram ride. The surrounding area offers several restaurants within 500 m, including Metropol Restaurant and Biergasthof Otto. On-street parking is scarce, so advance garage booking is strongly recommended.

Room types include double, twin, triple, and family rooms offering single beds or double beds. All rooms feature soundproof walls, carpeted floors, and individual climate control. Some rooms have blinds, others have curtains. Rooms overlooking the main road can experience traffic noise; rooms at the rear or quiet side are notably quieter. The family room accommodates four with two beds, and the triple room has three beds. A notable limitation is the lack of a refrigerator or closet in rooms. Wall hooks and a small shelf provide limited storage. Towels and a combined hair/body soap dispenser are provided. Cleaning is on request only via a digital system requiring one day's notice.

Breakfast (€8.50-€13 per person) offers bread, cold cuts, cheese, vegetables, and hot drinks. During busy mornings, items may run out and take time to be replenished. The bar area offers draft beer and a selection of drinks. Vending machines in the lobby provide snacks, pizza, and cold drinks around the clock. The hotel does not have an à la carte restaurant. Several dining options are within a 5-minute walk, including Biergasthof Otto and Asia Restaurant Happy Wok. For guests preferring to eat in, the lobby offers seating.

Leisure options are limited to the on-site vending machines for snacks and drinks and the bar area for socialising. The hotel's location near Schönbrunn Palace and its gardens provides outdoor leisure opportunities, including walking trails and the zoo. The immediate area is functional rather than recreational.

The hotel offers free Wi-Fi throughout. Underground parking costs €15 per night (€10 in some periods) and must be reserved in advance; maximum vehicle height is 2.10 m. Luggage storage is available during reception hours. The 24-hour self-check-in machine enables automated arrival. Accessible features include wheelchair-accessible rooms, grab rails in bathrooms, and a lift. A security alarm, CCTV, and smoke alarms are present. The lobby has vending machines and a bar. Housekeeping operates by request only via a QR code. A minibar fridge is not available in rooms.
