Situated in a lively neighbourhood full of restaurants, cafés and shops, the hotel is well connected for exploring Barcelona. The metro station is just two minutes on foot, placing the city centre, Park Güell and the beach within easy reach by public transport. The Sagrada Familia is a 10-minute walk, and the area is served by multiple bus routes and a tourist bus stop one block away. The beach is 30-40 minutes on foot or a short bus ride. Taxis to the airport cost around 35-40 € and take about 20 minutes. The port is also about 20 minutes away by cab.

Rooms are compact but functional, with a private bathroom that includes a shower. The bathroom sink is very small, which can make washing and placing toiletries a challenge. A coffee maker, wardrobe, safe (additional charge), free toiletries, and heating are provided. Some rooms on higher floors offer views of the Hospital de Sant Pau, while ground-floor rooms face an interior patio or a wall. Sound insulation between rooms is poor, so noise from neighbouring rooms and the corridor is common. Rooms above the entrance can pick up smoke smells. For a quieter stay, requesting a room on a higher floor or at the back of the building is advisable. Extra cots are available free of charge.

Breakfast is a functional continental buffet offering a reasonable selection of bread, pastries, cereals, fruit juices, coffee, and sweet and savoury items. The quality is basic and consistent, suitable for a quick start before sightseeing. Special dietary requirements can be discussed with reception. There is no on-site restaurant or bar for lunch or dinner, but vending machines for snacks and drinks are available. The surrounding area is full of dining options, including local restaurants and fast-food outlets, many within a 5-minute walk.
