HYATT HOUSE DENVER DOWNTOWN, Denver

The hotel sits in downtown Denver, just off the 16th Street pedestrian mall with its free shuttle buses. Denver International Airport is 39 km away; the light rail to Union Station ($10.50) plus the complimentary shuttle brings you to within 0.5 km of the lobby. Restaurants, bars, and attractions such as Ball Arena, Coors Field, and the Broncos Stadium are all within easy walking distance. The immediate area is central and generally well-lit, though some blocks have a mix of vacant buildings - the area feels safe during the day and evening.

The breakfast buffet offers a hot selection including eggs, oatmeal, proteins, cereals, and bread. While options are consistent day-to-day, it provides a solid start to the day. Later in the day, the bar serves drinks and a limited snack menu. For a heartier lunch or dinner, a dozen restaurants (burgers, gastropubs, American cuisine) are within a 5-10-minute walk, including 5280 Burger Bar and Yard House. Room service is available through a third-party catering service, Butler, delivering to your door.

The indoor pool is a saltwater system and consistently warm, making it popular for families. The fitness centre is equipped with modern machines and is free to use, though it can sometimes carry a chlorine scent from the adjacent pool. Laundry facilities are located next to the pool area. There is no spa on site. Both pool and gym are open daily; the pool is monitored by security cameras.

WiFi is complimentary throughout the hotel. The 24-hour front desk can assist with luggage storage (free), express check-in/out, and ATM services. A business centre is available at no charge, and meeting/banquet rooms can be booked for a fee. Guest laundry and dry cleaning are offered for an additional charge. Pets are permitted (fees apply). The property is fully non-smoking, has a lift, and is equipped for guests with disabilities. Security includes key card access, CCTV, and alarms. Note that there is no hotel shuttle to the airport; the nearest public transit option is the light rail to Union Station.
