HYATT HOUSE SAN JOSE-SILICON VALLEY, San Jose

The hotel sits within a retail and dining complex, putting Target, CVS and a wide choice of casual restaurants within a few minutes' walk. Levi's Stadium is about 2 km away, SAP Center 10 km and the San Jose Convention Center 11 km. Mineta San Jose International Airport is 6 km from the property. The surrounding strip centre includes Chick-fil-A, Chipotle, Panera, Five Guys, Panda Express and Sajj within 0.5 km, plus sushi and Korean BBQ roughly 1 km away. Being close to major freeways makes Silicon Valley offices and nearby Google workspaces easy to reach by car. Public transit is usable, but a car or ride-share simplifies connections to BART or VTA. Traffic noise from nearby roads can be audible in some rooms.

Standard King rooms are the most basic, with a king bed, microwave and mini-fridge but no kitchen. The Studio is the upgraded King layout, slightly larger and equipped with a kitchen. One-bedroom King suites and a limited number of one-bedroom suites with two queen beds provide separate sleeping and living spaces. Family rooms with three beds and quadruple rooms are also available; the quadruple adds a kitchenette with stovetop, refrigerator, dishwasher and cookware. Standard two-queen rooms do not include a kitchenette. Rooms come with air conditioning, tea and coffee facilities, cable TV, wardrobe, seating area and a private bathroom with bath or shower; some rooms are shower-only, and ADA rooms have roll-in showers. Sofa beds are full or double size, adjoining rooms can be requested subject to availability, and no rooms have balconies or jacuzzi tubs. Beds are notably comfortable. Condition varies by room: renovated rooms have newer carpets and furniture, while some older rooms show wear and can have a noisy air conditioner or musty smell.

Breakfast includes hot items, fresh fruit, cereals, breads and made-to-order omelettes, with vegetarian-friendly choices. Hbar, the on-site restaurant and bar, is open 17:00-22:00 Monday to Friday and provides a modern space for dinner, cocktails and happy hour; the bar and pool table are not available on weekends. A snack bar and minimarket are handy for light bites and essentials, and many rooms have kitchenettes for self-catering. Casual dining within a few minutes' walk includes Chick-fil-A, Five Guys, Chipotle, Panera, Panda Express and Sajj, with sushi and Korean BBQ around 1 km away.
