HYATT PLACE SARASOTA/BRADENTON, Sarasota

The hotel is located opposite the airport entrance, making it an ideal choice for flyers and early departures. Downtown Sarasota and St. Armands Circle are within a 15-minute drive. Siesta Key Beach is about 20 minutes away by car. Many restaurants, including a pizza place within walking distance, are nearby. The free shuttle runs from 7 AM to 11 PM exclusively for airport transfers; outside those hours, the airport is a short walk across the street. Free on-site parking with EV chargers removes the need for rental car logistics.

The complimentary breakfast includes scrambled eggs, sausage or bacon, hash browns, bagels, yogurt, fresh fruit, and cereal. It is well-regarded when properly stocked, but during peak times the buffet can run empty and become crowded, with long waits. The property also has a bar and a snack bar in the lobby. A coffee house on site provides drinks throughout the day. For dinner, the 24/7 Gallery Market serves American cuisine for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, along with wine and champagne for an extra charge. Several restaurants are within a short drive or walk, including a nearby pizza place. Those needing gluten-free options may find limited choices beyond boiled eggs and yogurt.

The heated outdoor pool is open all year and is generally clean with ample lounge chairs and tables; a sun terrace and picnic area are adjacent. The hot tub is open until 10 PM and is popular after a day out. The 24-hour fitness centre is small but equipped with cardio machines and free weights. Towels for the pool area are sometimes limited. There is no spa or wellness centre on site.

Free parking is available on site with no reservation needed, and includes an electric vehicle charging station. The free airport shuttle runs from 7 AM to 11 PM and can be requested after booking. A 24-hour front desk, ATM, and luggage storage are available. Daily housekeeping is included; laundry service is available for an extra charge. The business centre has two computers and a working printer. The property is fully air-conditioned, non-smoking throughout, and has a lift and facilities for disabled guests. A shared lounge/TV area provides additional space. Pets are allowed on request with a $75 fee. Complaints about front desk service have been reported, including slow check-in and unhelpful attitudes, but many interactions are described as friendly and professional.
