The hotel occupies a pedestrian square directly across from Bordeaux Saint Jean station, making it ideal for rail travellers. Trams C and D stop outside and reach the historic centre in under 5 minutes; walking takes about 20 minutes. A direct airport shuttle bus (30 Direct) departs from the station forecourt. Numerous restaurants and cafés line the surrounding streets within a 2-minute walk, and the bustling Saint Catherine shopping street is a short tram ride away. The neighbourhood is busy day and night; rooms facing the station experience more ambient noise, while rear-facing rooms are quieter.

Double, twin and quadruple rooms all include a private bathroom (bath or shower), a hairdryer, a flat-screen TV with cable channels, soundproof walls and city views. Air conditioning and heating are standard. Bed sizes and configurations vary: connecting double rooms (two interconnecting doubles) are available for families. Rooms are small and basic - no minibar, no kettle, and limited wardrobe space - but the essential comforts are present. Windows open and all rooms have natural light. Noise insulation between rooms and from the street can be inconsistent; higher-floor rooms away from the station are noticeably quieter. A few rooms have experienced odour or maintenance issues; requesting a rear-facing room on a higher floor can improve the experience.

The breakfast buffet (€13.90/adults, €6.95/children) includes eggs, fruit salad, yoghurts, juices, fresh pastries baked on site and madeleines. A lighter continental option is available from 04:00, and a hot drink plus a piece of fruit can be taken away. The breakfast room is small and can become crowded; spacious seating is not guaranteed. Outside breakfast hours, the hotel operates a coffee shop and a snack bar in the lobby. There is no full restaurant on site, but more than a dozen restaurants - from burger joints to brasseries - are within a 2-minute walk from the hotel entrance.

WiFi is free and available throughout the hotel. The 24-hour front desk can provide assistance at any hour and holds luggage free of charge both before check-in and after checkout. Daily housekeeping is included, and express check-in/out is available. The hotel features a lift, facilities for disabled guests (wheelchair-accessible rooms, lower sinks, raised toilets, grab rails), and family rooms. Board games can be borrowed from reception.
