Also within easy reach: Caesars Superdome and Smoothie King Center (about 2 km/2 km), City Park (5 km), and the Fair Grounds (3 km). Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport is 16 km away; the Julia Street Cruise Terminal is roughly 5 km (5 km) away (accessible by streetcar and a 10-minute walk). Free on-site and free on-street parking are available. The immediate area offers a dense cluster of restaurants and bars within a 5-minute walk, including Pizza Domenica, Echo's Pizza, Bayou Beer Garden, and Piece of Meat. For cyclists, a covered bike corral is available.

Accommodation consists of private rooms (double, twin/double, quadruple) and dormitories (8-bed). All private rooms have locking doors. Private rooms with en suite bathrooms offer a double bed plus a twin bunk above; rooms with shared bathrooms offer either two twin beds or one double bed. Dormitories are single-gender (male, female) or mixed, each with a private shower and toilet. Shared bathrooms are located near the rooms. All rooms include air conditioning and heating. Linens and towels are provided. Some rooms are located in separate outbuildings (e.g., the "Purple House") and may have differing levels of insulation, ventilation, and noise exposure. Rooms facing common areas or the pool may experience noise from social activity until late at night. The property is older; some rooms have basic furnishings, and light sleepers may want to request a quieter location away from the main house and courtyard. Borrow hair dryers from the front desk. No rooms have balconies.

Breakfast is not available on site, and the breakfast bar is currently closed.
