Rooms facing common areas or the pool may experience noise from social activity until late at night. The property is older; some rooms have basic furnishings, and light sleepers may want to request a quieter location away from the main house and courtyard. Borrow hair dryers from the front desk. No rooms have balconies.

Breakfast is not available on site, and the breakfast bar is currently closed. For self-catering, the communal kitchen is stocked with cookware, refrigerators, and shelving for non-perishable food; free 24/7 coffee and tea are provided. A restaurant, Backpackers Bistro, is on the property and serves American cuisine with vegetarian options; check the opening times and menu for your dates. Designated eating areas include the dining room, sun terrace, picnic area, and courtyard.

The outdoor swimming pool is open year-round from 10:00 to 22:00, featuring a fence, sun loungers, umbrellas, and swimming pool toys. The pool area is part of a larger sun terrace and garden with outdoor furniture, BBQ facilities, and a picnic area. The hostel also offers free evening entertainment (live music/performance, movie nights, live sports broadcasts), a games room, a shared lounge/TV area, and board games/puzzles.
