The San Diego Convention Center and Gaslamp Quarter are a 25-minute walk or short ride. Balboa Park, Petco Park, and the San Diego Zoo are less than 6 km away. The airport is reachable in 5 minutes by car or via an Uber for under $10. The area is safe and walkable at all hours, with easy interstate access for car travel.

Room options include 4- and 6-bed mixed dorms, female-only dorms, and private single, double, and deluxe double rooms (some with extra beds). All rooms share mixed-gender bathrooms with showers and hairdryers; no private bathrooms are available. Beds feature privacy curtains, individual outlets, and reading lamps.
