JORO LIVING, Paris

The location is exceptionally central, placing you directly across from Paris's two most famous department stores. The RER A station is at the front of the building, offering direct service to Disneyland Paris and Charles de Gaulle Airport, while the metro (lines 3, 7, 8, 9) and RER E are within a few minutes' walk, connecting you to all major landmarks. Opéra Garnier is a 4-minute walk, the Louvre Museum 2 km, and many other attractions, including the Tuileries Gardens, are within a comfortable walk. Uber pickups are easy, and a variety of excellent restaurants, cafés, bakeries, and a Monoprix supermarket line the surrounding streets, making self-catering and dining out equally convenient. The immediate area is busy day and night, but soundproof double windows keep the apartments quiet. The building is mostly offices, so neighbour noise is minimal.

All apartments feature parquet floors, high-end finishes, and designer touches. The kitchens are exceptionally well equipped with SMEG appliances, a full set of cookware, Nespresso machine, and basic pantry staples such as oil, salt, and pepper. Each bedroom typically has its own private bathroom with a walk-in shower, high-quality toiletries (CODAGE brand), and a hairdryer. Be aware that in some two-bedroom configurations, the toilets are separate from the shower rooms, so check the specific apartment layout for your group's needs. The living and dining areas are generous, with comfortable sofas, a large dining table, and a flat-screen TV with streaming services. The mattresses are Simmons, providing very comfortable sleep. The building is well insulated, and the apartments are quiet despite the central location. Some units offer a French balcony with street views, others overlook an inner courtyard.

The apartment's kitchen is designed for cooking, with an induction hob, oven, dishwasher, microwave, SMEG toaster and kettle, and a good selection of utensils. This makes preparing simple meals or heating takeaway from the adjacent Galeries Lafayette Gourmet food hall very practical. This food hall, a few metres away on the ground floor of the department store, offers a vast array of prepared dishes, fresh produce, cheese, charcuterie, and gourmet groceries. The surrounding streets also have a dense concentration of excellent French bistros, brasseries, and casual eateries, along with a Monoprix supermarket for basic groceries. A coffee shop is available on site, and wine/champagne is offered.

The Tuileries Gardens (within a 15-minute walk), Place Vendôme, and the Seine banks are easily reached on foot for relaxation or a stroll. For dedicated wellness or leisure activities, guests can explore the many options in the surrounding neighbourhood. The property itself provides a quiet retreat from the city bustle, allowing for a restful night's sleep after a day of sightseeing. Some apartments include thoughtful extras like a yoga mat.

Check-in is completely self-sufficient via a key box, making late arrivals easy. There is no reception or on-site staff, but the host (Yasmina) is very responsive via WhatsApp throughout the stay. Luggage storage at the apartment (before check-in and after checkout) is available upon prior arrangement, and there are on-site luggage lockers at the property entrance for flexible storage. Free high-speed Wi-Fi is included. The building has a lift, useful for luggage. A washing machine and an iron/steamer are provided in each apartment. A safety deposit box is available. The property is non-smoking and does not allow pets. The total price is inclusive of all taxes and cleaning fees.
