JUBILEE HOTEL VICTORIA, London

The hotel is situated on the south side of Eccleston Square, a quiet, tree-filled square just off Victoria Street. Victoria Rail and Coach stations are a 5-minute walk away, providing direct rail, coach, and Underground connections to Gatwick, Heathrow, and all of London. Buckingham Palace is a 10-minute stroll, while Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, and the London Eye are within a 20-30 minute walk. The area around Victoria offers abundant cafés, pubs such as The George and The Pimlico Grid, and a Sainsbury's supermarket within 7 minutes. The square itself is a Grade II listed garden space with a tennis court, open to hotel guests via a key from reception.

Room sizes are very small - single rooms measure around 5-6 m2, and double rooms can be cramped with beds touching two walls. The decor is tired, with some rooms featuring worn carpets and old furniture. All rooms have windows, but noise isolation between rooms and from the street is poor; light sleepers should bring earplugs. Heating works well in cooler months, but there is no air conditioning - each room has a fan. Private bathrooms are very small; shared bathrooms are cleaned daily but can be busy with up to 6 users. Rooms include a kettle with tea and coffee, a Smart TV with streaming, and USB sockets. Some rooms on the first floor have balconies with garden views. The atmosphere is basic but clean.

The hotel does not serve breakfast or run a restaurant, bar, or room service. In-room refreshments are complimentary: Twinings Earl Grey and herbal teas, Nescafé Gold coffee, Cadbury hot chocolate, milk, and sugar.
