LA CASA IN PRATI, Rome

The bed and breakfast sits in the well-regarded Prati neighborhood, providing a calm setting while keeping major attractions within easy reach. Ottaviano Metro Station is roughly 8 minutes away on foot, giving direct access to the rest of Rome. St. Peter's Square is 1 km from the property, and Rome Ciampino Airport is 18 km distant. The immediate area is filled with dining options, with at least eight restaurants, pizzerias, and cafés within a 300-metre radius. An ice-skating rink is also nearby.

Rooms at La Casa In Prati include air conditioning, heating, a flat-screen TV, and tile flooring. Family rooms are available. Each room has a private bathroom with a shower, bidet, and hairdryer. It is important to check the specific room type when booking, as some rooms are configured with a bathroom that is separate from the sleeping area, accessible via a shared hallway. Room sizes vary considerably; certain economy rooms are notably small, with limited space to move around the bed. Room conditions can vary, with some showing wear such as scratched walls or aged fixtures. The property is a converted apartment, and noise from plumbing and nearby rooms can be audible. Rooms away from the front of the building tend to be quieter.

The property does not provide breakfast and has no restaurant. This means all meals must be sourced outside the accommodation. A wide selection of dining options is available within a very short walk, including Siciliainbocca Prati, La Piccola Toscana, Pizzeria La Boccaccia, and several other Italian eateries, pizzerias, and wine bars. The area also has well-stocked cafés suitable for breakfast, serving both sweet and savoury items. This setup suits travellers who prefer flexibility and exploring local food rather than a fixed hotel meal.

Free WiFi is available throughout the property. Daily housekeeping and fresh linen are offered. A shared kitchen is accessible to guests. Luggage storage is available, which is practical for visitors arriving before the 15:00 check-in or leaving after the 10:00 check-out. The building has a lift, and some accessibility features are in place, including an emergency cord in the bathroom. Safety features include 24-hour security, fire extinguishers, and key card access. Pets are allowed on request, with possible charges. Accepted payment methods include Visa, Maestro, CartaSi, and MasterCard. Staff are described as polite and helpful, and check-in coordination is handled directly.
