LA QUINTA INN & SUITES BY WYNDHAM MESA SUPERSTITION SPRINGS, Mesa

The hotel sits directly off exit 187 on the Superstition Freeway, providing quick freeway access to the wider Phoenix area. Rockin' R Ranch Wild West Show is a 4-minute drive, and Sun Splash Water Park is 15 km away. Mesa Arts Center and Golfland Sunsplash are each 13 km from the property. Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport is 30 km (about 25 minutes). Numerous restaurants are within walking distance, including BJ's, P.F. Chang's, and Krispy Kreme. Macayo's Mexican restaurant shares the parking lot. The location works best with a car, but the freeway access makes getting around easy.

Rooms are available as standard double/king or larger suites with separate seating areas. All have private bathrooms with walk-in shower or tub. Some upper-floor rooms on the freeway side offer views of the Superstition Mountains. No rooms have a balcony. The property updates are noted as dated in some areas, and certain rooms may show wear. Freeway noise is noticeable; rooms away from the highway are quieter. Bed comfort varies - some find beds very comfortable while others report firm mattresses. In-room safes are available at no extra charge.

Breakfast is a continental-style buffet. Coffee is from a machine and may lack quality. The hotel does not have a restaurant or bar on site, but several full-service dining options are within a short walk. Macayo's Mexican restaurant is immediately adjacent. Other nearby choices include BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse, P.F. Chang's, and The Cheesecake Factory (2 km). For those who prefer a heartier morning meal, the breakfast provides a light start but may not suit all appetites.

The outdoor pool is heated to 29 °C year-round, with new sun loungers and umbrellas. Hot tub offers jets, though some units may have limited function. The pool area is generally clean, but opening times may occasionally be delayed for maintenance. A fitness centre with standard equipment is on site. No spa services are offered. The leisure facilities are suitable for a relaxing break after exploring Mesa.

Free private parking surrounds the property with accessible spots available. The hotel has a lift, though it may occasionally be out of service. A business centre and fax/photocopying are free. Meeting/banquet facilities (56 m²) come at an additional charge. A minimarket and vending machines are on site. Safety deposit boxes are free. Daily housekeeping is provided; some longer stays may experience skipped service. No airport shuttle is offered. Wheelchair accessible rooms with grab rails and Braille/tactile signage are available.
