It is 16 km from Great Smoky Mountains National Park and 14 km from Ripley's Aquarium. The entrance is just off the main Parkway, but it is set back behind other businesses, making it quieter than strip-front properties. A trolley stop is about a quarter-mile walk away on the Parkway, offering access to Pigeon Forge attractions without needing to drive. Multiple restaurants-including Golden Corral, IHOP, Wendy's, and Arby's-are within walking distance. The access road can be tricky to spot in traffic, so approach slowly from the main road. Parking is ample and well-lit, especially at the rear of the building.

Standard rooms include one or two queen beds or one king bed. Family suites consist of two separate rooms: one with two queen beds and the other with a king bed, sharing one bathroom. The property has recently been renovated, though some rooms may show minor wear. The room lighting is limited to bedside and desk lamps with no overhead light. All rooms are carpeted, air-conditioned, and include ironing facilities, tea and coffee facilities, and a sitting area. Some mattresses are described as firm and could be less comfortable for light sleepers; a room change may improve comfort. The bathroom shower pressure is very strong, and wall-mounted Dove toiletries are provided. There is no fan in the bathroom, so steam may escape into the room. Balconies are not available.

Breakfast includes items such as biscuits and gravy, eggs, sausages, cereal, waffles, potatoes, and sometimes Italian sausage. Selection changes daily and includes both hot and cold choices. During busy periods, some items may run out temporarily before restocking. Coffee is available but may be weaker than some would prefer. There is no on-site restaurant, bar, or room service, but several chain restaurants are within a short walk and many more within a 5-minute drive. A vending machine with drinks is available on site.

The pool is shared with the neighbouring Super 8 motel, so it can become crowded during peak times. Pool towels and sun umbrellas are provided. A free fitness centre with basic equipment is available on site. A golf course is within 3 km. There is no spa, sauna, indoor pool, or playground. The pool area is clean and well maintained during operating hours.

Free private parking is plentiful and does not require a reservation, though it can fill up during high season. Accessible parking and ADA-compliant rooms with grab rails and raised toilets are available but limited in number. The hotel offers a launderette, a minimarket on site, and a vending machine for drinks. Daily housekeeping is provided; pets must be crated if housekeeping is requested.
