Rooms are basic but functional, with carpeted floors and heating. All rooms have windows, some with high floor-to-ceiling windows resembling Juliet balconies, though no actual balconies exist. Basement rooms are available but may have limited natural light and can be prone to musty smells and noise from adjoining businesses. Single-glazed windows and thin walls mean street and corridor noise can be noticeable; rooms facing the road are noisier. Fans are provided for ventilation; no air conditioning. Beds are comfortable, but room sizes vary - some are very small and better suited to solo travellers. Some rooms have the bed against the wall. Irons are available on request.

Guests can prepare hot drinks in their room using the supplied electric kettle with tea and coffee.
