HOTEL LE ROYAL PROMENADE DES ANGLAIS, Nice

The hotel sits in the heart of Nice, with the beach directly across the road and the Promenade des Anglais right at the doorstep. Nice Airport is 5 km away - accessible by bus 12 (stop Congrès Promenade), tram (€10) or taxi (approx. €45, covering 10-15 minutes). Nice Train Station is a 15-20 minute walk. The city's main square, Place Massena, and the vibrant Old Town are within easy walking distance. The area is dense with restaurants, shops, and bars. For quieter sleep, rooms at the rear of the building avoid the street noise from the lively promenade.

Breakfast is a continental buffet with bread, pastries, fruit, and hot drinks. A pancake machine is available. The hotel's Restaurant Belle Epoque offers traditional and regional French cuisine, but the kitchen is limited and the menu focuses on salads. For more substantial dinner options, the many restaurants within a 2-minute walk provide wider choice. The terrace bar is popular for light meals and drinks with a sea view.

The hotel's main leisure draw is its direct access to the public beach across the Promenade des Anglais. The sun terrace offers sea views. Evening entertainment, happy hour, and cultural tours are available at an additional charge. There are no swimming pool, spa, or fitness facilities.
