Reid Park and its zoo are within a 5-10 minute walk, while the University of Arizona and Banner University Medical Center are less than 3 km away. Free on-site parking (reservation needed) makes car access convenient. Several restaurants, including Locale Neighborhood Italian across the street, are within easy walking distance. Bus services to downtown are available nearby. The area is considered safe for daytime walking. For longer trips, Park Place mall and the Tucson Convention Center are a short drive away.

All rooms are non-smoking and feature carpeted floors, a wardrobe, desk, and ironing facilities. The King Suite offers 44 m² with a seating area. For outdoor access, book an Extended King, Double Pool Side, or King Pool Side room (no balconies are available). Double rooms have one bed; quadruple rooms have two beds. The property has no adjoining rooms or double-bedded rooms with pull-out sofas, and most double rooms lack space for a roll-away bed. Beds are consistently described as comfortable, though pillows are on the smaller side. The overall decor and carpeting show signs of wear; rooms are generally clean but deep cleaning can be inconsistent. Soundproofing between rooms is moderate, and top-floor corner rooms are reported as quieter. Each room has individual air conditioning and heating.

Breakfast is included and features a make-your-own waffle station, pastries, cereals, and a rotating hot selection (eggs, bacon, sausage, etc.). Hours are weekdays 6:30-9:30 and weekends 7-10. Restocking can be slow during busy mornings, and the area may not always have a dedicated attendant. For off-hours, the 24-hour Bright Side Market sells snacks, drinks, and essentials. There is no full restaurant on site, but Locale Neighborhood Italian is directly across the street, and Subway, Cheddar's, and Starbucks are within a 1 km walk or short drive.

The outdoor pool is open daily 9am-9pm and is heated during cooler months. The surrounding terrace offers loungers, umbrellas, and pool towels. The adjacent hot tub/jacuzzi is operational but may occasionally need maintenance. The fitness center provides cardio and strength equipment, though some machines may be out of order. Billiards and darts are available on site (additional charge). Near the hotel, guests can access hiking, cycling, and golf courses. The pool area is fenced and open year-round.

Complimentary Wi-Fi is available in public areas (in-room connectivity may vary). The business center offers free printing and computer use, and the property has four meeting rooms totaling 4996 sq ft. Parking is free but requires a reservation due to limited spaces; RV parking is allowed. Guest laundry is available for an additional fee.
