The Metro station (Hollywood/Highland) is a 5-minute walk, providing direct access to downtown and other parts of LA. Highland Avenue is a major thoroughfare with heavy traffic, so road-facing rooms can be noisy; rooms on the upper floors or facing the rear are quieter. The neighbourhood is active both day and night, with many restaurants and shops nearby, though some side streets may feel less secure after dark. The hotel's secure entry with key card access adds a layer of safety.

Room types include standard double rooms with one or two queen beds and suites with a king bed or two queen beds plus a pullout sofa. All rooms feature air conditioning, heating, carpeted floors, a tea and coffee maker, a safe, and a large desk with an ergonomic chair.
