The beach is just a one-block walk, and the Malecón boardwalk is steps away, lined with shops, galleries, and eateries. Puerto Vallarta International Airport is 10 minutes by car, and the hotel can arrange a paid shuttle. For golf enthusiasts, Vallarta Marina Golf Club is a 10-minute drive. The area is walkable and safe, with many popular restaurants within 300 metres (including Fajita Republic, Pancho's Takos, and Margarita Grill). Ocean Friendly Whale Watching Tours depart from a nearby location, making this an ideal base for whale watching.

Room types include Junior Suites and Junior Suites with a kitchenette - the latter have a divider between the sleeping and living areas. All rooms come with an electronic safe, cable TV, and ironing facilities. Beds are firm; some find them less comfortable. Air conditioning is available and works efficiently, but some interior rooms lack natural light and ventilation. Noise can be an issue in street-facing rooms due to nearby bars operating until late. Los Arcos Suites itself does not have a dedicated restaurant, but guests can dine at Restaurante Mi Pueblito at Playa Los Arcos, which serves breakfast, lunch, dinner, and cocktails in a family-friendly, traditional setting. The pool at Los Arcos Suites is quieter and more private than those at the sister properties, making it ideal for relaxation. Sun umbrellas are provided free of charge. Guests also have access to the beach club at Playa Los Arcos, which includes beach chairs and umbrellas - a short walk away. The hot tub is available on site. For additional leisure, the sister hotels offer other pools and a rooftop bar (subject to availability).
