The hotel is on the southern end of the Strip, providing easy access to Mandalay Bay and Excalibur through indoor walkways and a free tram. Allegiant Stadium is roughly a 15-minute walk away, and T-Mobile Arena is also nearby. Airport transportation is via taxi, rideshare, or independent shuttle services (around $10 per person); the hotel does not operate its own shuttle. For getting around the Strip, local buses run from a stop directly outside, and the tram connects to New York-New York. Self-parking is available on-site for $15-$20 per day, but space may be limited during events; oversize vehicles cannot be accommodated.

Tower Premier Rooms feature multiple charging outlets, a multi-purpose unit serving as wardrobe, storage, work surface, and media center, plus a bathroom with separate shower and bathtub. Pyramid rooms offer either one king or two queen beds, but only have showers (no bathtubs). Suites include soaking tubs and some have a separate living area, though none have jacuzzis or balconies. A refrigerator can be rented for an additional $25 per day (suites include one standard). Rooms may feel dated, and some have reported issues with air conditioning or musty odors. Noise from elevators can be an issue in rooms near the lift banks. Tower rooms tend to be in better condition than some pyramid rooms.

Luxor offers American, Mexican, and pizza options: Public House (lunch, dinner), Pyramid Cafe (breakfast, lunch), TENDER steakhouse and lounge (dinner), Diablos Cantina, Bonannos, Johnny Rockets, and more. A food court on the second floor provides quick meals like deli sandwiches, chicken tenders, and subs. Breakfast-in-the-room is available, and there are several Starbucks locations. Many on-site restaurants are considered overpriced for the quality. The buffet is currently closed. For a wider selection, the connected Excalibur and Mandalay Bay are a short walk away. Room service is offered but not 24 hours.

All four outdoor pools are seasonal and unheated; hours typically run from 9:00 to 19:00 in summer and 9:00 to 17:00 in other seasons. Sun loungers and pool towels are provided, and cabanas can be reserved. Nurture Spa and Salon offers an assortment of beauty services including massages, facials, body wraps, manicures, and waxing, along with a steam bath and dry sauna. A hot tub/jacuzzi is available at the spa, but not in guest rooms. The fitness centre is open to all guests and includes cardio and weight equipment, though some machines may occasionally be out of service. The casino floor has over 11100 m² of slots and table games, plus a sportsbook with plasma TVs.

Public parking costs $15-$20 per day (valet $26-$35), with no reservation needed. Electric vehicle charging stations and accessible parking are on site. The 24-hour front desk offers currency exchange and an ATM. Luggage storage is available (pricing at bell desk). Same-day dry cleaning and ironing services come with an additional charge. Housekeeping is offered daily but may be limited; some have noted it can be inconsistent. Business facilities include fax/photocopying and meeting/banquet rooms for a fee. The property is wheelchair accessible with features like raised toilets, grab rails, and tactile/braille signs. An Avis car rental desk is located on site.
