The Viking Line ferry terminal is 5 km away, reachable by taxi (15 minutes) or public transport (25-30 minutes). While the surrounding streets offer many restaurants and cafés within 300 metres, some of the most popular city sights require a 15- to 20-minute walk, which may be less convenient for those with limited mobility or young children. Free luggage storage allows city exploration even on arrival or departure days.

Standard rooms are compact, with small windows that limit natural light; some ground-floor and lower-floor rooms have windows at pavement level, offering no view. Family and budget rooms may have narrow fold-down sofa beds (140 cm) or chair beds (75 cm), and the bunk-bed rooms are very small. Premium rooms offer extra space, adjustable beds, a Nespresso machine, bathrobes, and slippers. Some rooms are in a separate building across the street, requiring a walk outside for breakfast and facilities. Rooms facing the main road can be noisy from traffic, and older windows let in street sound - rooms away from the street or on higher floors are quieter. Air conditioning is not available, and heating can be difficult to adjust; opening windows is the only cooling option. Wardrobes and irons are provided.
