The hostel lies 2 km from LoanDepot Park and about 10 km (15 minutes) from Miami International Airport. The cruise port is 7 km (16 minutes) away. The area is exceptionally walkable for dining and nightlife, with a free trolley service and bus stops within a five-minute walk providing direct routes to Brickell and downtown Miami. For late arrivals after 11:00 pm from the train station, a 35-minute walk or an Uber is the only option. Miami Beach is around 30 minutes by bus.

All rooms are shared dorms (mixed or female-only) with bunk beds. Dorm rooms contain six beds and a small side space for luggage; the rooms are not lockable, so securing valuables depends on the small lockers (fits wallet, computer, small items - not a suitcase). The female dorm has a separate lock with a code for added security. Each bed comes with two pillows and a blanket; top bunks can feel wobbly and are harder to access. A bottom bunk can be requested if available. The property is older and basic in decor - better suited to travellers prioritising location, price, and community atmosphere over modern finishes. Noise from neighbourhood roosters and planes can affect sleep.

Breakfast includes toast, jam, peanut butter, milk, cereal, and coffee (including Cuban coffee). It is simple and runs from 9:30 am, which is too late for early departures. The fully equipped shared kitchen (refrigerator, microwave, stovetop, cookware, dining table) lets guests prepare their own meals. For variety, dozens of restaurants - El Taquito, Azucar Ice Cream Factory, El Exquisito Restaurant, and Yisell Bakery - are within a three-minute walk on Calle Ocho.

The garden includes avocado and other fruit trees, creating a peaceful spot for relaxing or socialising. The outdoor dining area and picnic tables provide space for meals and mingling. Board games are available for indoor entertainment. The hostel is adults-only (minimum age 18).

Wi-Fi reaches 253 Mbps - fast enough for 4K streaming and video calls. The 24-hour front desk supports express check-in/out and a VIP service. Private on-site parking (US$5 per day) must be reserved in advance; paying at check-out is possible but can lead to lost spots if payment is not confirmed. The shared bathroom is single, serving all guests; there is no separate male/female facility, and morning congestion can occur. Lockers are small and located in the kitchen area, not in the rooms, and do not fit full backpacks. Luggage can be stored after 9:00 am and picked up later. Towels and linens are provided.
