Miami International Airport is 100 km north. The property is located along the Overseas Highway (US1), so rooms facing the road experience significant traffic noise, especially during peak hours. The immediate area offers several restaurants and a grocery store (Publix) within a short drive. For those without a car, the walkable radius includes two restaurants at 0.5 km. The on-site boat ramp and dock make the resort especially convenient for boaters.

The resort offers a variety of accommodation types. Studios are compact with a king bed, small bathroom, microwave, and mini-fridge - best suited for couples needing a short stay. One-bedroom apartments include a separate living room, full kitchen (stovetop, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher), and a private balcony or screened patio. Bungalows have a full kitchen, living room, and separate bedroom with full bathroom. Some pool-view rooms include a queen pull-out sofa in the living room and full kitchen. Many units have been recently renovated with modern bathrooms and kitchens. Note that rooms on Highway 1 side are subject to constant road noise, while those with ocean or pool views are quieter. The bedrooms in some units have limited blackout curtains - light from parking lots or hallways may make the room bright at night. No heating is available; during cold spells, the space can be chilly. Bathrooms in standard studios are notably compact, and some may lack electrical outlets.

The resort does not have a restaurant or provide breakfast, but there are two vending machines (drinks and snacks) and free BBQ facilities with lighter fluid provided. Guests can cook their own meals using the full kitchens or kitchenettes found in most units. Two nearby restaurants - Lazy Days and Kev's Cafe - are within a 5-minute walk. Many other dining options are available along Islamorada, including the popular Lorelei (key lime coladas) and Mangrove Mike's (breakfast). The front desk can provide recommendations.
