Numerous restaurants, a Carrefour supermarket, cafes, and shops are all within a short walking distance. The Palacio de Congresos is also just a few minutes away. While the area feels safe and practical for business and event travellers, the historical centre is roughly 30 minutes away by metro, so plan accordingly for sightseeing.
