HOTEL MIRAMAR, Paris

The hotel sits at the heart of Montparnasse, a lively district packed with restaurants, cafés, and cinemas. The metro station at Place Bienvenüe - directly outside the entrance - connects to multiple lines, making journeys to major landmarks fast and simple. Gare Montparnasse itself handles high-speed and regional trains, ideal for day trips or airport connections. The area is safe and walkable, with supermarkets, shops, and the Montparnasse Tower observation deck within a few minutes' walk. Public parking is available at the nearby Montparnasse Tower car park; no reservation is required, but charges apply.

Rooms vary in size - some are compact by Paris standards, while others are considered spacious for the area. All rooms are soundproofed from other rooms and feature double-glazed windows, although street-facing rooms may still pick up traffic and restaurant noise, especially on busy corners. The property's older building means sound insulation between floors and doors can be thin; corridor and elevator noise is audible in some rooms. Showers are powerful and well-rated, and bathrooms are clean. Rooms include air conditioning, heating, a TV with cable channels, a hairdryer, free toiletries, and a tea/coffee maker. Twin rooms provide two single beds; queen/king-size beds are not available. Some rooms offer a balcony, parking-lot views, or partial tower views.

Breakfast includes croissants, pastries, yoghurt, fruit, cereal, hot drinks, and juice. Gluten-free options are also available. Service starts at 07:00, though there are occasional delays if the morning attendant arrives later. For early departures, breakfast before 07:00 is not normally possible. A café next door offers meals and drinks, while the lively Montparnasse neighbourhood provides dozens of alternative restaurants and brasseries within a short walk. In-room breakfast is available on request. The hotel does not have its own full restaurant/bar, but the adjacent cafe is widely used by travellers for dinner and drinks.

There are no wellness or leisure facilities such as a gym, pool, sauna, or spa. The nearby Montparnasse neighbourhood offers plenty of cafés, restaurants, cinemas, and the Montparnasse Tower observation deck for recreational activities. The property itself is geared towards short-stay comfort and easy access to the city's attractions.
