The hotel sits on a main boulevard directly facing Gare de l'Est train station, and Gare du Nord is about 10 minutes on foot. The metro station entrance is literally at the doorstep, providing access to multiple lines that connect to central Paris attractions (Louvre, Notre-Dame, Eiffel Tower), Charles de Gaulle Airport (20 minutes by metro), and the hop-on hop-off bus route (around 20 minutes by metro from the hotel). Numerous bus stops are also within a minute's walk. The immediate area is busy with train stations and has a lively, somewhat gritty character typical of major station districts, but the 24-hour reception and secure night entrance help maintain a safe feel. Many restaurants, cafes (Le Petit Moine, Chez Aldo Cafe, Quality Burger Restaurant), a supermarket, and a pharmacy are within a 5-minute walk. For cycling guests, bikes cannot be stored at the hotel.

All rooms have a private bathroom with shower (some with bathtub), hairdryer, and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and Canal+. Rooms are equipped with a minibar, safe, and heating. In summer, only a standing fan is provided; there is no air conditioning, and the upper floors can become very hot. The building has a lift, but some rooms require stairs from the lift to the door. Room sizes vary: some are spacious by Paris standards (especially those on the 5th floor or facing the interior courtyard), while others are very compact. Soundproofing is limited - noise from neighbours, corridor, street traffic, and trains can be audible, especially in street-facing rooms; interior courtyard rooms are quieter. Cleaning is daily but can be superficial (sheets and towels may not be changed every day unless requested at reception). Beds are single-size and comfortable; the mattress quality is generally good. Window ventilation is possible, but open windows let in street noise. Bathrooms are recently renovated in many rooms.

Breakfast is a continental-style buffet served in the morning and costs 7.50 EUR per person if not included in the rate. It is not available to book as inclusive, but can be purchased on site. Options are basic but sufficient for a light start to the day. For those who prefer a fuller meal or different cuisine, the surrounding blocks are dense with restaurants and cafes: Le Petit Moine, Quality Burger Restaurant, Factory & Co, Chez Aldo Cafe, Brasserie Flo Gare de l'Est, Schmid, Le Cafe de l'Est, and Station Nord-Est are all within 0.5 km. There is also an Asian restaurant directly across the street. Room service is available, but the minibar in each room provides a convenient in-room snack option.

The 24-hour reception allows late arrivals and early departures (check-out before 6:00 is possible by arrangement). Express check-in/out is available. Free luggage storage can be used on both arrival and departure days without charge. Wi-Fi is free in all areas and works reliably for browsing and messaging. A safety deposit box is available in each room at no extra cost. The hotel has a lift, non-smoking policy throughout, and 24-hour security with CCTV in common areas and a security alarm. Reception can provide an invoice with company details upon request. The reception also holds room keys when guests go out. No pets, no smoking, and no parking on site. Bikes cannot be stored.
