MODERN CENTRAL CITY ROOMS, Vienna

Vienna International Airport is 24 km away. The property is within walking distance of Schönbrunn Palace (13 minutes) and near attractions like Wiener Stadthalle and Schönbrunner Gardens (2 km). The tram stop directly in front provides direct routes to the city centre and metro stations, making public transport the most practical way to get around for sightseeing or airport transfers. Parking is available off-site at an hourly fee, but reservations are not possible. The surrounding area includes an ice-skating rink and Auer-Welsbach-Park for outdoor activities.

The hostel offers triple rooms with a coffee machine, dining area, work desk, wardrobe, and heating. Each room features a kitchenette with a stovetop, electric kettle, and kitchenware. All rooms share bathroom facilities (only two showers/toilets for the entire property), so morning and evening queues are common. Many rooms have windows that cannot be opened, leading to stuffy, hot conditions; a fan is provided but may not suffice in warm weather. Bed quality varies, with some reports of creaky or unstable frames. Road-facing rooms can be noisy due to tram and traffic sounds. The rooms are best suited for short stays or budget-conscious travellers who prioritise location and price over space and quiet.

The property does not include a pool, spa, gym, or other on-site wellness facilities. For recreation, Auer-Welsbach-Park is next to the hostel, and Schönbrunn Palace Gardens are within walking distance. An ice-skating rink is located nearby in the surrounding area. These options suit travellers seeking low-cost or outdoor activities rather than structured hotel leisure.
