MONDIAL APPARTEMENT HOTEL, Vienna

The hotel is on a quiet side street but within easy reach of public transport: tram 37 and 38 stop within 5 minutes on foot, and tram D and bus 40A are close by. The metro (U-Bahn) is an 8-10-minute walk, making the city centre reachable in 10-15 minutes by transit. Many major landmarks - Sigmund Freud Museum, Lichtenstein Palace, Musikverein, and Schönbrunn Palace - are within a 30-minute walk or short ride. Grocery supermarkets (Spar, Billa) and a variety of cafes, bakeries, and restaurants are around the corner, offering convenient self-catering and dining options.

Room types include studios (1 or 2 beds) and a larger en-suite apartment suitable for up to 5 people with a separate living room with a sofa bed. Each unit is well-equipped: a kitchenette with stovetop, microwave, refrigerator, and electric kettle; a private bathroom with shower, hairdryer, and free toiletries; plus a balcony, work desk, and flat-screen TV (up to 50 inches). Daily housekeeping makes the bed and ensures cleanliness. The interior has a charming vintage character, mixing older furnishings with new items - giving a homely, non-chain atmosphere. All rooms are air-conditioned and soundproofed, ensuring a quiet stay even near the elevator or a busy street. Shared self-service laundry (washer/dryer) is available in the basement.

The breakfast buffet offers breads, pastries, cheeses, cold cuts, and boiled eggs (upon request) with unlimited coffee. It is a classic Viennese spread, lighter than a full cooked breakfast. Special dietary menus can be requested in advance. The on-site coffee house serves excellent coffee and light snacks. Nearby, within a 2-5-minute walk, a range of restaurants and cafés (Blueorange Café, Ginger & Spice, Rado's Gastwirtschaft, Pho 33, and others) provide additional dining choices for lunch or dinner.

The hotel features a shared terrace for relaxation, a games room with board games and puzzles, and an indoor play area for children. Babysitting services can be arranged for an additional charge. These facilities make the property particularly suitable for families, though those seeking a full spa or swimming pool will need to look elsewhere.

The hotel provides a 24-hour front desk and security, with a concierge, tour desk, and private check-in/check-out. Free WiFi is available in all rooms. A safety deposit box is free of charge. Private parking can be arranged nearby (reservation needed, €10/day), and an electric vehicle charging station is located opposite the hotel. Laundry (washing machine and dryer) is available in the basement for guest use. The property allows pets (with an extra cleaning fee for larger dogs) and offers services such as babysitting, baby cots, board games, an indoor play area, and a coffee house. Luggage can be stored at reception before check-in or after checkout upon request. Business facilities include free fax/photocopying and paid meeting/banquet facilities.
