Munich Airport is 34 km away (about 30 minutes by taxi), while the city centre is a 20-25 minute U-Bahn ride. The U-Bahn station at Messestadt West is directly outside the hotel, and bus links are equally convenient. For drivers, the hotel is two junctions from the motorway, but on-site parking is not available; a paid APCOA underground garage is attached to the shopping centre. The hotel's immediate area is focused on trade-fair and shopping infrastructure, so the surroundings are functional rather than historic - but the mall, supermarket and multiple restaurants (open until roughly 22:00) mean you never need to go far for supplies or a meal. Bicycle rental is available on site for exploring the nearby park and area.

The double rooms are compact (one of the smallest in the Motel One chain), with limited storage space: only two small shelves in the hallway, a tiny bedside table, and no drawers or closet. There is no telephone, no minibar, no tea/coffee maker, no safe, and no drinking glasses - just paper cups in the bathroom. The bathroom itself is small with a fixed-angle shower head, but water pressure is good. However, the beds are comfortable with a mix of soft and firm pillows, blackout curtains are effective, and soundproofing is reasonable - rooms facing the inner courtyard are noticeably quieter than those facing the street or the Mall. Air conditioning works well in summer but can struggle to keep the room cool overnight, and windows in ground-floor rooms cannot be tilted for ventilation. For business travellers, the only table is a small circular one and the chair is low, making laptop work awkward. For concert or trade-fair attendees, the room is perfectly adequate for sleeping and showering, but not for extended in-room relaxation or work.

The inner courtyard garden and furnished terrace are available for all guests and are particularly popular for enjoying a drink from the bar or simply reading. The area is quiet and well-maintained. Bicycles can be rented from the hotel for up to three days, which is a convenient way to explore the nearby park, the shopping centre or the immediate surroundings. There is no pool, spa, gym or other leisure infrastructure on site, so guests seeking those should plan accordingly.
