The unusual tram noise, audible from early morning until late evening, is a known characteristic of the location; rooms on the higher floors with the balcony partially mitigate this.

Each room provides air conditioning, heating, a safe deposit box, and a flat-screen TV. Private bathrooms include a shower, bidet, and hairdryer. A handful of rooms share a bathroom - these can be avoided by booking a room with a private bathroom. The furniture and towels are noticeably older; the property prioritises location and cleanliness over modern decor. Noise carries between rooms and from the tram line, but the balcony and the room's view of the city skyline are appreciated, especially on the 5th floor. Family rooms can accommodate up to three people, with two beds in the triple unit. The bed may feel firm to some, and the pillows are not always comfortable.

For a proper breakfast or dinner, the surrounding streets offer a range of trattorias and cafés. The kitchen's equipment is basic but sufficient for making coffee, tea, toast or light meals.
