The hostel is situated in Bushwick, a creative area known for its street art and industrial-chic vibe. Within a 5-minute walk, you will find a variety of restaurants including sushi (Momo Sushi Shack), vegan (Amituofo Vegan Cuisine), and cafés (Ange Noir Cafe). The L train subway station (Morgan Avenue or Jefferson Street) is a 5-minute walk, with a 20-minute ride to Manhattan. The neighbourhood is generally busy and safe, with many bars and eateries. Public parking is not available.

The fully equipped shared kitchen allows cooking your own meals and includes a refrigerator and stove. For a social evening, the hostel arranges a free BBQ and fondue night every Thursday, with grilled items and cheese or chocolate fondue. The on-site bar serves beer, wine, and cocktails - outside alcohol is not allowed.
