NINAGUESTHOUSE, Bangkok

The guesthouse is situated in a small side alley off Khao San Road, providing easy access to the party street while remaining completely quiet at night. Don Mueang International Airport is 26 km away; the airport bus stops nearby. Walking distance to Bangkok National Museum (1 km), Grand Palace (2 km), and numerous restaurants, bars, and street food vendors. The alley leading to the property is narrow and can feel dark or dirty, but the location is ideal for those wanting to explore Bangkok's historic centre on foot and use ride-hailing services for longer trips.

Available room types include double, twin, and triple rooms - all with private bathrooms, air conditioning, flat-screen TV, and electric kettle. Standard rooms have windows; some rooms on upper floors have good natural light and views. However, some rooms on lower floors and in the basement lack outward-facing windows, leading to humidity, a musty smell, and potential mould. Light sleepers should request a room away from the road or on a quiet side. The building has no elevator, so rooms on the 4th or 5th floor involve steep stairs - not ideal for heavy luggage or mobility issues. Housekeeping is daily, with fresh towels and complimentary bottled water provided. Rooms are basic and functional - comfortable beds and good showers, but limited storage space (minimal shelving and hangers).

A complimentary coffee and tea station is available in the shared lounge area during the day. No restaurant is on-site, but Khao San Road and the surrounding streets offer a huge variety of Thai and international food, street food, and bars within a 1-5 minute walk. Notable nearby options include May Kaidee Tanao, Tossakan Thai Curry House, and several cafes. The guesthouse does not provide breakfast or meal service, so eating out is required.

The guesthouse does not have a pool, gym, spa, or similar leisure facilities. The shared lounge/TV area offers a basic space to relax. The prime location compensates by placing guests steps away from Bangkok's most famous backpacker strip, with bars, live music, street performances, and markets. For a quieter break, Sanam Luang park and the riverfront are a 15-minute walk.
