NITE INN AT UNIVERSAL CITY - WALKING DISTANCE TO UNIVERSAL STUDIOS HOLLYWOOD, Los Angeles

The hotel is located 3 minutes on foot from the Universal City Red Line Metro Station, one stop from the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and provides metro access to downtown venues like the Staples Center, LA Live, and the Convention Center. Disney Studios are 6 km away; Bob Hope Airport is 8 km; LAX is 41 km. Walking to the Universal Studios park entrance is uphill via a free shuttle that runs frequently from a stop just around the corner. The surrounding area is safe and well-lit, with several fast-food and casual dining options within a 5-minute walk, including In-N-Out Burger, Carl's Jr, Pepe's NY Pizza, and a taco place. A Vons supermarket is also within a 10-minute walk for supplies. The property also offers free on-site parking for one compact or midsize vehicle per room-a second car can park in the free public lot across the street.

The hotel offers six room types. Standard rooms are compact, typically with one queen bed or two double beds, and are best suited for short stays focused on visiting Universal Studios. Some rooms include a double sofa bed, allowing up to 4 guests in a tight space. The Connecting Suite has two separate rooms with three queen beds and a large sofa bed, sleeping up to 7, and offers more space for families. Each room has a flat-screen TV with over 200 cable channels including premium movie channels, mini fridge, microwave, air conditioning, heating, free Wi-Fi, and a private bathroom with a hairdryer. Some rooms include an oversized jetted hot tub. The lower bathroom sinks and raised toilets are available in the single ADA-approved room, which has two full-size beds. Rooms do not have balconies or closets; luggage storage is limited. The room size can feel cramped, especially for four people, and floor noise from upper rooms is noticeable.

The hotel provides free morning refreshments in the lobby between 7:30 AM and 9:30 AM, including a self-serve machine offering coffee, hot chocolate, and other hot drinks, alongside Danish pastries. There is no on-site restaurant, bar, or room service. However, the surrounding area offers numerous dining options within a 3-minute walk, including Pepe's NY Pizza, Zach's Italian Cafe, Carl's Jr, SunCafe Organic, and a nearby Fatburger and Subway open until 2 AM. A Vons supermarket is a 10-minute walk for self-catering needs. For those preferring a fuller breakfast beyond pastries, the location's walkable dining choices provide practical alternatives.

The property has no swimming pool, spa, or fitness center. Outdoor leisure is limited to a small terrace, garden, and picnic area with outdoor furniture. These spaces are suitable for resting after a day at the parks but not for extended recreation. The primary leisure draw is the hotel's proximity to Universal Studios Hollywood, with the free shuttle stop just 3 minutes away. The shared lounge/TV area offers a place to relax indoors. For additional leisure, the Universal City Red Line Metro Station provides quick access to Hollywood attractions and the downtown area.
