HOSTAL BEDMATES, Barcelona

The metro station connects to lines L2 and L3, providing direct access to Sagrada Família (15 minutes), Plaça de Catalunya (2 km), and the Gothic Quarter. The Magic Fountain of Montjuïc is 2 km away, and the Montjuïc cable car is reachable on foot. Numerous restaurants, bars, and a LIDL supermarket are within a 2-5 minute walk. The neighbourhood has ongoing street construction, which may cause daytime noise. The property is well-served by public transport, making a car unnecessary for most city exploration.

Room types range from twin/double rooms (one bed) to quadruple rooms (four beds) and multi-bedroom apartments for up to eight guests. Some apartments feature a terrace with city views. Double rooms offer either city or inner courtyard views. The property is in a lively area, and some rooms are on lower floors without significant views. Noise from neighbours and street can be audible due to thin walls; light sleepers may prefer a room away from the main street or earplugs. Bed comfort is generally well-regarded, and the daily housekeeping keeps standards consistent. Some rooms may have limited natural light, particularly those facing an inner courtyard.

There are no wellness facilities within the property. The surrounding area includes Montjuïc Park, reachable on foot in about 10 minutes, offering open green space, the Magic Fountain, and the Montjuïc cable car to the castle. The hotel's proximity to Paral*lel metro also provides quick access to the beach (Barceloneta), the aquarium, and cultural venues. Boating is available in the surroundings. The outdoor terrace available in some apartments is the only on-site leisure space.

Wi-Fi is free in all rooms. Luggage storage is free and accessible before check-in and after checkout. The reception is staffed from 07:00 to 23:00; a security guard covers overnight. Express check-in/check-out is available. Daily housekeeping includes changing towels and making beds. Laundry service is available for an additional charge; there is also a self-service laundromat a one-minute walk away. Private off-site parking costs €20.50/day and must be reserved in advance. The property has a lift (small, accommodating two people with suitcases), and some apartments require climbing stairs before reaching the lift. Safety features include a safe deposit box, CCTV, smoke alarms, and 24-hour security. Cots are available on request. Accepted payment methods: Visa and MasterCard.
