Located in Barcelona's city centre, the hotel puts the Gothic Quarter's narrow streets, boutiques, tapas bars and cultural landmarks just steps away. The Basilica of Santa Maria del Mar is 200 metres away, the Picasso Museum is a 3-minute walk, and Barceloneta Beach is reachable in about 17 minutes on foot. Plaça Reial, the Cathedral and the Born district are all within a short stroll. The area is packed with restaurants, bars and terraces, making it ideal for exploring the city on foot. However, this central location means the surrounding alleys can be noisy late into the night, and street noise from bin collections and nightlife may affect sleep. A metro station is also nearby for connections across the city and to the airport.

Rooms facing the street or above the restaurant kitchen can be particularly noisy. Double rooms comfortably accommodate two adults; a third person is not possible in a double room. Children are allowed from 16 years old. The hotel also has a lift.
