The hostel sits near the River Thames in a lively, well-connected part of central London. Lambeth North underground station is a 5-minute walk away, giving direct access to Zone 1 and the wider tube network. Waterloo Railway Station and South Bank with its attractions and dining are both a 15-minute walk. A 24-hour bus stop is at the end of the road, and a bicycle docking station is 5 minutes away. The immediate area includes several cafés, pizza places, and pubs within walking distance, making it easy to find food at any hour. The location is particularly practical for sightseers: Big Ben and Westminster Abbey are a stroll away, while the West End and Soho are accessible in about 30 minutes via bus or tube.

All rooms feature sturdy triple bunk beds with two UK plug sockets and two USB sockets per bed - no individual bed lights. Beds have no privacy curtains, so bringing an eye mask is advisable. The private rooms are triple-bunked (three beds) and a couple can book a private room for sole use by reserving all three beds. Female-only 3-bed dorms are available; other dorms are mixed. A male can only stay in a female dorm if the entire room is booked. Bathrooms and showers are shared per floor; the unit size varies (approx. 8-35 m²) and, as a social party hostel, rooms are basic and compact. Noise from door slamming, movement on triple bunks, and thin walls can affect sleep. Road-facing rooms may be noisier. Lower bunks are available on request for easier access. Windows open only partially, so rooms can become warm; no air conditioning - request a fan from reception. The hostel does not have rooms with a balcony.

Breakfast is available for a charge if booked in advance, with options possibly including cereal, toast, and hot drinks. Dinner is free each evening - a vegetarian meal prepared by staff, served in the common area around 7-8pm. Sign-up is required at check-in, and the dinner is a social event where guests eat together. The shared kitchen (microwave, hotplate, kettle, oven, sink, fridge) lets guests prepare their own food. Snacks and soft drinks are sold at reception. For those wanting full restaurant meals, several eateries are a short walk: Herbies Pizza, La Parma Pizzeria, Imperial Cafe, and others are 0.3-0.5 km away. No on-site restaurant exists.

The hostel runs a full programme of events designed for social interaction. Free walking tours of London (led by volunteers) depart in the afternoon. Evenings start with drinking games, then a group outing to a pub or club. A free family dinner is held nightly, bringing everyone together. Board games are available in the lounge, and there's a shared lounge/TV area. For outdoor activity, the Thames Path and South Bank are a 15-minute walk away. There is no pool, spa, gym, or wellness centre.

The front desk is open 24/7, with limited services from midnight to 8am. Free fibre Wi-Fi covers the whole hostel. Lockers (both in rooms and public areas) are monitored by CCTV 24/7; bring your own padlock or buy one for £4. Luggage storage is free - useful for early arrivals or late departures. The shared kitchen includes a microwave, kettle, hotplate, oven, fridge, and sink. Towels can be rented for £2, and hairdryers are available to borrow. A tour desk helps with city info.
