PARS TEATRO HOSTEL (ADULTS ONLY), Barcelona

The hostel sits in a lively area with easy access to Barcelona's top attractions. Las Ramblas and the port are within a 5-minute stroll, and Parallel Metro station is a 3-minute walk (two stops to Plaza Espanya). La Sala Apolo nightclub is also close by. The neighbourhood offers many restaurants, bars, and a Lidl supermarket 5 minutes away. The beach is a 25-30 minute walk or a quick bus ride. For late-night returns, sticking to well-lit main roads is advisable.

All rooms share bathrooms (no private options). Beds come with a privacy curtain, reading light, power outlets, and a locker that fits a 50-60L backpack. Bed linen is included for stays over one night; towels can be rented for 3€. Triple, quad, and twin rooms (all with shared bathroom) are also available, some featuring a decorative fireplace. The plastic mattress protectors and bunk-bed frames can creak with movement; beds are not fixed to the wall, so top-bunk movement may be felt below. Air conditioning is centrally controlled at reception. Upper-floor rooms are accessible by lift. Limited hooks and shelving in showers mean planning for wet towels and toiletries.

The shared kitchen includes a stove, microwave, oven, toaster, kettle, and all necessary cookware and utensils. Guests can prepare their own meals. A minimarket on site and vending machines offer drinks and snacks. Wine and champagne are available for purchase at reception. For eating out, numerous restaurants, including Listo and Fali's Bar, are within a 300-metre walk. Breakfast is not served, so self-catering or visiting nearby cafés is the standard option.

Pars Teatro runs a social programme every evening, including walking tours (free), pub crawls (additional charge), family dinners, drinking games, movie nights, paella nights, and clubbing. The common lounge has a TV, music, board games, and a guitar. There is no pool, spa, or gym. The programme changes daily, so checking the schedule at reception is recommended.

WiFi is free and fast across the property. The 24-hour front desk offers concierge, tour desk, and private check-in/out. Free luggage storage is available until 8 PM on checkout day. Lockers with keys are provided in all dorms. Daily housekeeping is included; laundry and ironing services are available at an additional cost. A lift serves upper floors. The hostel is non-smoking throughout, with no pets allowed. No parking, airport shuttle, or private bathrooms are available. Accepted cards: Visa and MasterCard.
