The hostel sits on a lively street in the Raval neighbourhood, within easy walking distance of Las Ramblas, the Gothic Quarter, and major attractions. Public transport is excellent with metro stations just 4-5 stops from Sagrada Família and the port about 3 km away. The area has many bars, restaurants, and shops within a 2-minute walk, but the immediate street can feel less safe late at night. The Aerobus from Barcelona El Prat Airport stops at Plaça Catalunya, a 10-minute walk away, making airport transfers straightforward. For guests driving, paid parking is available at a nearby garage for €14 per day.

All rooms are private with a private bathroom and essential amenities including free toiletries, a flat-screen TV (remote requires €20 deposit), and desk space. Air conditioning is available but the temperature may be fixed; heating is effective. Rooms vary in size; some are very small with limited storage and no sockets near the bed. Sound insulation is minimal - noise from neighbours, the street, and a nearby club can be disruptive, especially in lower-floor or street-facing rooms. Beds are basic; some find the mattress too hard or small for two people. Higher-floor rooms tend to be quieter. Windows open for ventilation but bathroom doors have a gap, allowing odours. There is no balcony, no fridge, and no in-room hairdryer (available at reception). Rooms are cleaned daily with towel changes.

The hostel does not have a restaurant or bar, but a small selection of hot and cold drinks is sold in the waiting area. Breakfast may be offered as an optional add-on; check availability and price when booking. Numerous bars, cafés, and restaurants are within a 2-minute walk, including Casa Lola, La Petita Galeria, and Teresa Carles, providing plenty of dining options. For self-catering, there are shops nearby, though rooms have no kitchenette.

The 24-hour front desk allows check-in at any hour, and staff are helpful with maps and recommendations. Luggage storage is free before check-in and after check-out, and guests may also use the shower after departure. Free WiFi is available in rooms. A lift serves upper floors, though it is extremely narrow (fits one person with a suitcase).
