YOUTH HOSTEL - CENTRAL AND BASIC DRASSANES, Barcelona

The old Port is 500 metres away, and Barceloneta's beaches are a 20-minute bus ride. Airport buses depart from Plaza de Catalunya, two Metro stops from Drassanes. The surrounding streets are filled with cafes, bars, and restaurants (e.g., Guell Tapas, Bar Canete) within a 5-10 minute walk. The Gothic Quarter and Raval are easily reachable on foot. Despite the central location, the immediate area can be lively at night; rooms facing the street may experience noise until late.

Room types include private single and double rooms, some with ensuite facilities. Shared bathrooms are located on each floor (2-4 per floor). Rooms are equipped with a wardrobe, sink, hairdryer, and a ceiling fan (no air conditioning). Heating is available in cooler months. The building has no elevator; rooms are on upper floors. Soundproofing is limited - internal noise from corridors and neighbouring rooms can be heard, and street noise may affect front-facing rooms. Some rooms overlook an inner courtyard, offering relative quiet. Bedding and towels are provided; extra towels incur a charge.

Breakfast availability varies by booking - some rates include it, others require payment at reservation. The property provides no cooking facilities. Numerous dining options are within a short walk, including Catalan, tapas, and international cuisine. The hostel's staff can recommend nearby cafes for breakfast, such as 365 on Carrer Nou de la Rambla.
