For those driving, free on-street parking is available along the park but can be difficult to find, particularly on weekends. The area is quiet at night and feels safe, well suited for a relaxed stay outside the busiest city centre.

Noise can travel between rooms due to old wooden doors, and light may enter from the hallway if a glass door separates the room. Rooms at the rear of the building are quieter. For light sleepers, a rear-facing room or earplugs are advisable. The building does not have a lift, so upper-floor rooms require climbing stairs.

The pension does not serve breakfast or operate a restaurant on site. For self-catering, the common room provides unlimited free tea and coffee, a microwave, a refrigerator, and basic kitchenware. The nearest supermarket is 100 metres away, making it easy to stock up on supplies.
