The pension is in the first district, with Kärntner Straße shopping street, Hofburg Palace and the State Opera all within a 5-minute walk. U1 and U3 lines provide direct metro access. The Karlsplatz transport hub is also 5 minutes on foot. While no on-site parking exists, several paid garages are nearby with daily rates from €20. The pedestrian area means most major sights, restaurants and the Christmas market are easily reached on foot.

Rooms are clean and spacious, with modern furnishings. Some rooms face an inner courtyard with limited natural light but remain quiet; street-facing rooms may be noisier. Double rooms have double beds (twin beds are only possible in the apartment). The plumbing is old, so toilet paper must not be flushed - bins are provided and emptied daily. An iron is available on request. The building has a lift (historic style) for easy access. Apartments include a separate living/sleeping area and kitchen.

Breakfast is a self-service buffet set up near reception; you take items back to your room. The selection is simple but adequate, with fresh pastries, cold meats, cheese, and occasionally prosecco. No hot dishes are offered, and vegetarian options are limited. The property has no restaurant or bar, but several cafes and eateries are within a 3-minute walk, such as Cafe Hawelka and Trzesniewski.

The property offers free WiFi but speeds are unreliable. Daily housekeeping is included and rooms are cleaned thoroughly. Luggage storage is available before check-in and after check-out, but only from 8:00. A laundry service is available at a reasonable price.
