The Votive Church and Sigmund Freud Museum are just 2 minutes away on foot. The Schottentor U2 station and multiple tram and bus lines are a 5-minute walk, providing fast connections to the city centre, main train station, and Vienna Airport (18 km). The hop-on hop-off sightseeing bus stop is just 150 m from the entrance. The neighbourhood is quiet yet central, with many restaurants, cafés, and shops within a few minutes' walk. The city centre (St. Stephen's Cathedral) is a 10- to 20-minute walk or a short tram ride away.

Each room includes a private bathroom with toilet and hairdryer, an electric kettle with cups, and a flat-screen TV with cable and some UK/USA channels. Some windows face a courtyard or the street, while others overlook a wall with minimal natural light. Ground-floor rooms have windows directly on the sidewalk and may be affected by street noise. The property has no elevator, but ground-floor rooms offer step-free access. The furniture is older but functional; beds are comfortable according to most reports. Some rooms near the reception can be noisy due to the vending machine and corridor sounds. A desk and heating are provided; no air conditioning, but the building's thick walls help keep rooms cool in summer. Extra beds and cribs are not available. The atmosphere is basic and practical, suited for short stays or travellers who plan to spend most of their time out.

There is no restaurant or breakfast service at the pension. A vending machine offers drinks and snacks, and a coffee machine provides coffee for a small fee. The location is well-supplied with nearby bakeries, cafés, and restaurants within a 5-minute walk, including several options on the same street such as Der Wiener Deewan, The Burger Bar, and Hitomi Sushi. A supermarket is also close by for self-catering items. No kitchen or fridge is available in the rooms.

No on-site wellness or leisure amenities are available. The pension focuses on providing a clean, practical base for exploring the city. From June to September on Fridays, a day trip to Hallstatt can be booked at the reception (advanced booking recommended). The surrounding area offers numerous walking routes to museums, parks, and shopping streets.

Wi-Fi is free throughout the property (coverage may vary by room). Daily housekeeping is included and includes tidying the room, changing towels, and making the bed. Luggage storage is free before check-in and after check-out. Express check-in and check-out are available. The reception is open from 12:00 to 23:00; late arrivals (until 23:00) can be accommodated with prior notice. A laundry service and ironing service are available for an additional charge. The property is secured with key access, smoke alarms, and fire extinguishers.
