PENSION U LILIE, Prague

The location is exceptionally central, with Charles Bridge a 3-5 minute walk and the Astronomical Clock also close by. The surrounding area has many restaurants, bars and shops, and an Irish pub across the street often features live music. The location is well-served by public transport, with a tram stop nearby for longer journeys and easy access to the rest of Prague. Parking is available in a paid public garage a five-minute walk away, but the area is best explored on foot. Because of the central location, some rooms may pick up street noise, particularly from nearby nightlife.

Rooms are generally clean and provide the basics: comfortable beds, heating, and a seating area. The property has three floors, and a lift serves the first two floors. Attic rooms on the third floor are accessed only by a steep staircase, which can be challenging with luggage and has low, sloping ceilings. These attic rooms also tend to get very hot in summer, with only a fan provided. Road-facing rooms can be noisy at night, while courtyard rooms are quieter but cannot be guaranteed. Bathrooms are functional, though some are small and dated. Room size varies: single rooms are compact, while triple rooms offer more space. There are no balconies or air conditioning.

Wellness facilities are not available at the pension. For relaxation, guests have access to a small garden and a sun terrace with outdoor furniture, providing a place to unwind after sightseeing. The surrounding Old Town offers numerous restaurants, bars, and cultural attractions.

Free Wi-Fi is provided in all areas, and a free internet terminal is located on the second floor. The reception desk offers luggage storage at no extra cost (useful for early arrivals), a tour desk for sightseeing advice, and a concierge service. Private check-in/out is available. A paid airport shuttle can be arranged for 790 CZK (approx. 33 EUR). Daily housekeeping is provided, though some reports indicate less frequent servicing. The property has a lift serving two of the three floors. Pets are allowed for a 10 EUR per night surcharge. Accepted payment methods include American Express, Visa, Maestro, and MasterCard.
