PENTHOUSE AMSTERDAM DAM SQUARE, Amsterdam

Dam Square and the main shopping streets are within a 5-minute walk. Amsterdam Central Station is a 4-minute walk, providing direct rail and tram connections across the city and to Schiphol Airport (19 km away). The Basilica of St. Nicholas and Chinatown are a 4-minute walk. The Rembrandt House is a 13-minute walk, and the Dutch National Opera & Ballet is 2 km away. The area is packed with restaurants, bars, and shops, with many options open late. For those exploring, most attractions are reachable on foot or by a short tram ride.

The property offers double rooms with either a private or shared bathroom. Rooms with a private bathroom tend to be more compact, while those with a shared bathroom are often larger and may include city views, a sofa, and extra amenities like a washing machine. All rooms have heating, a TV with streaming services, an electric kettle, and wardrobe space. Some rooms include a washing machine and tumble dryer. Room conditions vary: some are well-maintained and clean, while others have been described as dirty, with damaged flooring, mould in bathrooms, or broken fixtures. Noise from the hallway, neighbouring rooms, and the street (for front-facing rooms) can be a concern. Steep stairs must be climbed to reach all rooms, and the shared bathroom is on the top floor. For a quieter stay, choose a room away from the street and consider a private bathroom if preferred, accepting the smaller size.
