Located at the edge of the tourist zone, the address offers convenient walking access to Playa del Carmen's main attractions: the beach, 5th Avenue shopping and dining, the Cozumel ferry, and Walmart. The ADO International Bus Station is about 500 metres away, making bus travel easy. Numerous restaurants, markets, and street-food vendors are within a 5-minute walk, providing ample meal options for any budget. The neighbourhood becomes quieter a few blocks off 5th Avenue, allowing for better sleep than on the main strip.

Room conditions vary significantly. Standard rooms are frequently reported as worn, with small beds, hard mattresses, and poorly fitting sheets. Bathrooms in these units often lack shower curtains, causing water to flood the floor, and have unreliable hot water. Amenities such as mini-fridges and in-room safes are not guaranteed, and a request is needed for items like a hair dryer. Newly renovated rooms (e.g., rooms 134 and 135) offer a more comfortable stay with a mini-fridge, safe, and modern decor. These rooms also provide better soundproofing against central noise.

The hotel does not have a full restaurant. A paid à la carte breakfast is available for 135 MXN, featuring warm dishes and fresh fruit. This breakfast is often served at an adjacent café, which many consider excellent for its quality and value. The same café is open for other meals, and the surrounding streets are filled with restaurants, taquerias, and street-food stalls within a 5-minute walk, from casual to more upscale venues along 5th Avenue.

The large central pool is the key feature, open all year and often well-kept. However, the pool area has limited loungers, and the pool itself can be noisy during the day and early evening as all rooms open onto the courtyard. Sun loungers may be in poor condition, and the pool is often in shade for much of the day. There is no spa or wellness centre on site.

Wi-Fi is free in public areas and generally works, though it can be weak in many rooms. The 24-hour front desk can assist with tour bookings and arranging a paid airport shuttle for approximately 1200 MXN. A luggage storage service is available after check-out at no extra charge. A lift is available, making upper floors accessible. Safety includes 24-hour security and CCTV. Payment is accepted via cash, Visa, or Mastercard.
