PLAZA SUITES ON INTERNATIONAL DRIVE NEAR UNIVERSAL EPIC, Orlando

The hotel is centrally located on International Drive, putting guests within a short walk of numerous restaurants, souvenir shops, and attractions. Universal Orlando is only 1 km away (about 5 minutes by car or a 15-minute walk). SeaWorld is 8 km away, and Walt Disney World is a 14 km drive. The I-Drive Trolley stops right outside, connecting to both Premium Outlets. For park visits, the free shuttle to Universal and Magic Kingdom departs from the hotel. Note that the Orlando International Airport is a 20-25 minute drive; no airport shuttle is available.

The hotel offers one-bedroom and two-bedroom suites, with the two-bedroom option featuring two full bathrooms. All suites include a kitchenette with a stovetop (no oven) and a refrigerator, but no cutlery, plates, cups, or cookware are provided - these must be requested from the front desk. Room sizes are generous, and many have floor-to-ceiling windows with views of the lake or city. Beds are comfortable, and pillow quality is good. Air conditioning is available, but some units are reported to be very loud, especially in the bedroom area. Road-facing rooms may experience some noise. The carpets in certain rooms may appear stained or feel unclean. There are no balconies.

Breakfast is served daily from around 6:30. The complimentary continental buffet includes sliced bread, bagels, English muffins, cream cheese, peanut butter, cereal, oatmeal, boiled eggs, make-your-own pancakes, juice, coffee, and tea. Items rotate daily but no hot proteins (scrambled eggs, bacon) are provided. The breakfast area uses disposable paper plates and plastic cutlery. The hotel has no on-site restaurant, but there is a bar in the lobby and a Sky Bar on the rooftop (for Club Level guests). Club Level access includes unlimited beer and wine from 12:00 to 20:00, plus warm appetizers from 17:00 to 18:30. Several restaurants are within a 5-minute walk.

The hotel has two outdoor pools: a ground-floor pool available to all guests with sun loungers and umbrellas (shaded in parts), and a rooftop pool (at the Rooftop Oasis) that is complimentary only for Club Level guests. Others can purchase a daily pass for $25 per person, subject to availability. The rooftop area includes a hot tub, bar, and fitness centre, but the pool has no umbrellas - shade is available near the bar. Both pools are heated and open from sunrise to sunset year-round. Happy hour is available at an additional charge. The fitness centre is small and basic.

WiFi is free in all areas and generally reliable. Free private parking is available on site with no reservation needed; however, the lot fills up by the evening, and finding a space after 20:00 can be difficult. The 24-hour front desk provides luggage storage and an ATM. A free shuttle runs to Universal and Magic Kingdom, requiring 24-hour advance booking. Business services include a business centre, meeting/banquet facilities, and fax/photocopying (with additional charge). A minimarket is on site, as are vending machines. Laundry and dry cleaning are available for a fee. The property is wheelchair accessible, with Braille signage and grab rails in accessible bathrooms. Safety features include CCTV, 24-hour security, key card access, and a safety deposit box.
