Hotel Details

Location

Located 6 km from Zayed International Airport, this hotel is a 10-minute drive from the terminals via a free hourly shuttle.
The hotel is situated next to the old airport terminal, now closed, so the surrounding area is quiet but isolated with no nearby shops or restaurants. A 10-15 minute covered walkway through SkyPark Plaza connects to Terminal 3, but Terminal A requires a shuttle or taxi. Central Abu Dhabi is a 25-minute drive away, and the National Aquarium is 17 km (15 min drive). Taxis from the hotel often incur an AED 20 surcharge due to the old airport location, so expect around AED 40-50 for a one-way ride to Terminal A. The free shuttle pick-up at Terminal A is located outside exit 7 at the bus waiting area.

Accommodation

Double rooms feature a kingsize Premier Inn bed for up to two adults; family and connected rooms are also available.
All rooms are air-conditioned with blue carpeted floors, soundproof walls, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, individually adjustable air conditioning, a minibar or mini cooler, an electric kettle with tea and coffee, and a work area. The en-suite bathroom has a bathtub and overhead shower. Family rooms are available that can accommodate 2 adults and up to 2 children (under 15), and connecting family rooms can be requested. Cots can be provided on request. No rooms have balconies. Some rooms feel basic or slightly dated, and road-facing rooms may pick up engine noise. The room size is generally sufficient for overnight stays.

Dining

The all-day restaurant Nuevo serves international buffet and à la carte breakfast, lunch, and dinner from 06:00 to 00:00.
Breakfast is served from 06:00 to 10:30 as a continental and full English buffet with Arabic, Asian, and Indian options, pastries, fruits, and yogurt. Breakfast costs 62 AED per person; children under 15 eat free. The restaurant menu includes international dishes, and a separate bar (Lounge One) offers drinks, snacks, and light meals. Room service is available until 01:30 (last order). A 24-hour Costa Coffee outlet is also on site. Dinner ends at 23:00 with room service final orders shortly after. The restaurant generally receives positive feedback for food quality and variety.

Wellness and Leisure

A rooftop outdoor swimming pool with airport views is open daily from 08:00 to 19:00, complemented by a fitness centre and hot tub/jacuzzi.
The rooftop pool features sun loungers and a shallow end, with pool/beach towels provided. The fitness centre is equipped with basic gym facilities. The pool and jacuzzi are open year-round, though seasonal maintenance closures occasionally occur. Live sport events are broadcast in the bar. A daily shuttle to Yas Island is available for leisure trips, but visitors should confirm schedules at reception as they may require advance planning.

Facilities and Services

Free Wi-Fi throughout, 24-hour reception, free on-site parking, luggage storage, and a 24-hour Costa Coffee outlet are available.
The 24-hour front desk team can assist with late check-in and luggage storage. A cloakroom is available for bags after check-out. Daily housekeeping is included; laundry and dry cleaning are available for an additional fee. The business centre offers free fax/photocopying and paid meeting/banquet facilities. Accessibility features include wheelchair-accessible rooms, lowered bathroom sinks, raised toilets, grab rails, and auditory guidance. The property is fully air-conditioned throughout with a designated smoking area, soundproof rooms, lifts, family rooms, and non-smoking floors. Safety deposit boxes are provided at reception.

Critical Operational Notes

  • Check-in from 14:00; check-out by 12:00. Early check-in (08:00-13:00) costs AED 150. Late check-out (12:00-18:00) costs AED 150; after 18:00 a full night's charge applies. Both are subject to availability and confirmed on the day of arrival.
  • The free hourly airport shuttle operates 24/7 from Terminal A exit 7 on a first-come, first-served basis with limited luggage capacity.
  • Parking is free for in-house guests only; vehicles left beyond the booked stay incur a penalty of AED 500 per night.
  • Pets are not allowed anywhere on the property.
  • A valid UAE visa is required before clearing immigration to access the hotel; the hotel is outside the sterile transit zone and not connected to Terminal A.

Top Strategic Tips

  • 01

Book a room for the previous night if arriving between midnight and 08:00; early check-in before 08:00 incurs a full night's charge, while 08:00-13:00 costs AED 150 if available.

  • 02

Plan to use a taxi for airport transfers if the free hourly shuttle is full; the 24-hour shuttle runs on a first-come, first-served basis with limited capacity and departs from exit 7 at Terminal A.

  • 03

Request a quieter room facing away from the road at check-in if you are a light sleeper, as some rooms can pick up engine noise.

  • 04

Budget for a taxi if you need a guaranteed departure time; the shuttle departs hourly on the hour from the hotel, but the 08:00 bus has sometimes left early because it was full.
