For the Biennale, both the Arsenale exhibition hall (5 minutes) and the Giardini (10 minutes) are easily walkable. Via Garibaldi, with its restaurants, bars and a Coop supermarket, is a 5-minute stroll. The neighbourhood is consistently identified as quiet for Venice, with only ambient canal sounds.
