The San Zaccaria vaporetto stop is approximately 5 minutes away, providing water-bus connections across Venice and to Murano and Burano. The area is dense with restaurants, bars, and shops - more than ten dining options are within a 5-minute walk. The hotel is a 30-minute walk from Santa Lucia train station over multiple bridges and steps, so using a water taxi or vaporetto is recommended when carrying luggage.

Rooms are individually decorated with classic Venetian touches such as Persian rugs and Murano glass lamps. Twin and double rooms are available, with quadruple rooms featuring two single beds and one double. Some rooms have a partial view of St. Mark's Basilica or overlook Venice's rooftops, while others face the street and may be affected by pedestrian noise from the alley below. Not all rooms have a balcony. Several rooms have a step inside to reach the bathroom, which can be a hazard for toddlers. Bathrooms are often described as modern and recently renovated. The double beds are typically two single mattresses pushed together - this can be felt as a gap without a mattress topper. Some rooms have limited power outlets, with only one or two available. The building has no lift, and the staircases are steep and narrow. The rooftop terrace is accessible and offers a quiet spot with a view of the city skyline, including St. Mark's domes.

Breakfast is served each morning and includes bread, pastries, cheese, cold cuts, cereal, butter, jam, and good Italian coffee. The breakfast room is on the first floor and is also used as a shared lounge/TV area outside breakfast hours. The hotel does not have its own restaurant or dinner service.
