PRINCE OF WALES TOWNHOUSE, London

The townhouse sits in a residential part of Hammersmith, with Ravenscourt Park and Hammersmith tube stations both within a 3-5 minute walk, giving direct District line access to central London, Westminster and Tower Hill. Eventim Apollo and Olympia Exhibition Centre are within a 10-15 minute walk, and Portobello Road Market and the Natural History Museum are a short tube ride away. Street parking is available opposite the property, free during evening and weekend hours. The neighbourhood has numerous cafés, restaurants and a park within walking distance, making car-free city exploration straightforward. For Wembley Stadium or Arena, allow a 20-25 minute drive or around one hour by public transport.

Double rooms offer a private bathroom with either a walk-in shower or a bath and shower combination, plus a hairdryer. Family rooms include a sofa bed, bath and separate shower, and are noted for being spacious. In-room amenities cover iron and ironing board, electric kettle, and free Wi-Fi. Rooms are carpeted and centrally heated. Some lower-floor rooms or those facing the road may experience noise from the pub and traffic, and air conditioning is limited to portable fans. A few rooms have the shower in the bedroom rather than the bathroom. Rooms vary in condition - those that have been recently redecorated are described as comfortable and clean, while others feel tired and in need of refurbishment. It is advisable to check with the property for room condition if this is a key concern.

The on-site pub offers lunch, dinner and cocktails, with a bar menu that includes pizza, Sunday roasts and burgers. Children's meals are available, and guests receive a discount on food and drink. Breakfast is not served daily; it is available on Saturdays from 09:00 to 15:00 and Sundays from 09:00 to 12:00 at an additional charge, delivered to the room. The pub kitchen operates until 23:00 Sunday-Thursday and until midnight on Friday-Saturday. For those wanting a wider breakfast choice, several cafés and bakeries are within a 5-minute walk.

Wi-Fi is free in all rooms. Luggage storage is available from 09:00 on check-in day until the end of checkout day, at no charge. Daily housekeeping is free but must be requested at reception. Room service is available. Pets are allowed on request without extra charges. Safety features include CCTV in common areas and outside, smoke alarms, and key access. The property accepts American Express, Visa and MasterCard. No dedicated car park exists - only street parking. There is no lift; staff can assist with luggage on the stairs. Cots are available on request for family stays.
