PRINCESS HOSTEL LEIDSE SQUARE AMSTERDAM, Amsterdam

The hostel sits on a main tram line, with the stop directly outside for tram 17, providing a direct link to Amsterdam Central Station in about 10 minutes. The area is dense with restaurants, supermarkets, and shops, including several Asian and Italian options within a 2-minute walk. The Vondelpark is a 5-minute walk away, and the Melkweg music venue is about 5 minutes on foot. For those arriving by car, paid public parking is limited in the surrounding streets. The neighbourhood itself is generally safe, although the immediate area around the hostel entrance can feel less secure at night. Walking time from the hostel to the Anne Frank House is about 20 minutes, and to the Rijksmuseum it's a 12-minute walk.

Leisure options are limited to a bicycle rental service (available on site for a fee). The property is a budget hostel with no indoor common area for relaxation beyond the reception area. The nearby Vondelpark provides green space for walking, running, or cycling, and the Melkweg and Paradiso are popular live music venues within a 10-minute walk. The property itself does not organise events or activities.
